Design Without Shelf Life
I don’t belong to a single era of design. I’ve mastered three of them.
My journey started in the late 90s, heavily rooted in typography, layout integrity, and the unforgiving precision of the commercial print industry. Back then, there was no ‘undo’ button. You either understood space, grid systems, and composition, or your project failed. That raw discipline became my foundation. It’s a level of structural craft that many digital-native designers working today simply never had to learn.
But I didn’t stay static. As the technology shifted, I moved faster.
The Multi-Disciplinary Edge
When motion and video started rewriting the rules of engagement, I threw myself into broadcast graphics and commercial video production, learning to make static visuals move, breathe, and capture attention. When the market demanded business-driven outcomes, I didn’t just step into leadership—I founded a creative agency, acquired a major commercial production company, and ran the entire operational machine from the ground up.
Operating at this level for decades gave me a rare, macro perspective. I stopped looking at design as just an aesthetic exercise. I learned to look at it through the lens of business scalability, resource optimization, and consumer psychology. I know how systems connect, how teams collaborate, and exactly how a visual asset impacts a brand’s market value.
The UK Era & Digital Focus
Moving my operations to the United Kingdom allowed me to fully channel this multidisciplinary arsenal into the modern digital landscape. Over the last several years, I have been leading high-tier digital design delivery, creating interfaces, and structuring visual experiences within fast-paced, highly competitive environments.
My daily sandbox right now is built entirely around the digital future. I am deeply embedded in Figma design systems, UI/UX architecture, and advanced digital product frameworks. More than that, I treat emerging technologies like generative AI not as a novelty, but as raw fuel—pioneering AI-driven asset production and prompt workflows to deliver high-end creative results at a speed that traditional setups cannot match.
